Happy Places
“It is a land of quiet words
Of transferred thoughts
Of melting spirits and
Never ending beauty
Let’s linger there
In niches of
Silence”

Much has been written about Twin Souls and their special connection. Aside from that unique Love, mostly it is about loss, pain and grief. Why is that? Possibly because there is so much more to learn than we can imagine. Some insights come with a nearly unbearable shock to our senses, far beyond any understanding. Nobody wants to hear anything about letting go, after one has finally found the person, who one could be completely honest with, who mirrors one’s own soul so perfectly that it seems impossible. Words fail us in such moments when we meet, feeling an intense attraction of magnetic energy never previously experienced.
But this is exactly what we have to do: letting go. First, we have to learn that this kind of connection cannot be explained logically, nor can it be understood on an intellectual level. Our mind attempts to fit this experience into the usual patterns though, which makes it harder. So, in a way, one has to outwit one-self. That process involves rather acceptance of what is than to understand what’s going on.
