<b>Timothy Beatley</b> is Teresa Heinz Professor of Sustainable Communities at the University of Virginia, USA, where he has taught for the last thirty years. He founded and directs the Biophilic Cities Project and recently helped to launch a global Biophilic Cities Network.<br/>
