<p>This book examines all aspects of the imaging of spinal infection. The diagnosis of spinal infection has been a challenge for many years. In addition to clinical and laboratory findings and histopathological examination, imaging has a major role in aiding and expediting the correct diagnosis. This book comprehensively addresses how imaging can help in localizing the site and specifying the extent of a variety of spinal infections.</p><p>After introductory chapters on the epidemiology and pathophysiology of spinal infection, the different imaging techniques are discussed in detail. The bulk of the book addresses different specific spinal infections caused by various pathogens. These comprise chapters on hematogeneous pyogenic spondylodiscitis, iatrogenic spinal infection, pyogenic epidural abscess, spinal brucellosis, salmonella spondylodiscitis, spinal tuberculosis, spinal hydatidosis, and fungal spondylodiscitis. <div><b>Mohamed Fethi Ladeb</b> is Professor of Radiology at the Medical School of Tunis. He was Former Head of the Department of Radiology, M. Kassab Orthopaedic Institute, Tunisia. His subspecialty interest is musculoskeletal radiology. He is a member of The International Skeletal Society, The French Radiologic Society, The Swiss Radiologic Society, The Tunisian Radiologic Society and The Tunisian Society of Telemedicine. His academic output comprises 100 journal publications, 17 book chapters, 2 guidelines and 2 books – Musculoskeletal Hydatidosis and Imaging of Spinal Infection. &nbsp;<br> <br><b> Wilfred CG Peh</b> is Clinical Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and Head of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. His subspecialty interest is musculoskeletal radiology. He was Founding President of the Asian Musculoskeletal Society and received the President’s medal from the International Skeletal Society in 2003. He has authored more than 500 journal publications, more than 60 book chapters and 9 books.&nbsp;<br></div>
