<p>Isaías Scalabrin Bianchi holds a Ph.D. in Technology and Systems Information from the University of Minho, Portugal. He also served as a visiting researcher at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. He is a civil servant at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, where he has held various management roles since 2010. Additionally, he teaches in the Master’s Program in Management at the same university. His research interests include IT governance, Information Technology Business Process Management, Business and Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Transformation and Innovation, with a particular focus on public organizations and higher education institutions. His research has been published in prestigious IS conferences and international journals. Since 2020, Isaías has been working as a visiting professor at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where he teaches and supervises Ph.D. students in the areas of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, and supply chain management. He also serves as a research leader on projects funded by the Minister of Education of Kazakhstan. Additionally, he co-supervises master’s students at the University of Minho and the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa in Portugal. Isaías has earned the Moodle Educator Competence through the Moodle Educator Certification Program. Furthermore, he contributes as one of the editors for books published by Springer and serves as a guest editor for several indexed journals.</p>

He is an associate professor in the Faculty of Engineering and a researcher at the Scientific Research Institute, both at the University of Lima, Peru. His research focuses on knowledge management, innovation management, and technology management, with a special focus on emerging contexts. Additionally, he has served as a visiting professor at the Private Technical University of Loja—UTPL and at the Federal University of Santa Catarina—UFSC, where he supervises postgraduate students. Outside academia, he has accumulated over a decade of experience in industries including insurance, banking, FDI, and IT. His scholarly contributions have been published in leading journals, and two of his papers have been awarded at the IFKAD conference in 2017 and 2019.</p>
