C. K. Rowling, Joan Kathleen Rowling, who adopted this name to use the beginning letter of her grandmother Kathleen as her middle name. She is a film producer, novelist, and screenwriter. She received her primary education at St Michael's Primary School and then obtained her secondary school certificate from Wydden High School.
